Duars Alternative Medical Research Institute (DAMRI) has been at the forefront of community development in the North Bengal region of West Bengal for last 29 years . Dedicated to fostering sustainable change, DAMRI focuses on improving the lives of underserved communities, especially in tea garden areas and among tribal populations.Our mission is to empower and uplift these communities through comprehensive welfare initiatives in Education, Health, Livelihood, and Well-being. We believe in the power of grassroots change and work closely with local communities to build capacity, promote social inclusion, and create opportunities for a better, sustainable future.

Our mission is to strengthen underprivileged communities by creating opportunities in the development process. We envision every person being empowered to lead a more secure, prosperous, and dignified life.
Objectives

⦿ Bring reforms to society by eliminating social evils such as dowry, child marriage, child harassment, and polygamy.
⦿ Conduct social welfare activities, including sanitation, public health, road development, safe drinking water, and anti-human trafficking initiatives.
